Heat Pump Repair, Maintenance, Installation and Replacement in McKinney, TX

McKinney homes range from historic houses near the downtown square to newer neighborhoods on the edges of town, and a heat pump behaves differently in each. Older homes may have tight attic spaces, undersized ducts, and little insulation. Newer homes may have builder-grade equipment that never matched the house. KMI A/C and Heating provides heat pump services in McKinney, TX, for both, with certified HVAC technicians who adapt to the home in front of them.

Questions McKinney Homeowners Ask

Can I install a heat pump with my old ductwork?

Often yes, but we inspect the ducts first. If they leak or are too small, we recommend repairs so your new heat pump performs as designed.

How long does an installation take?

Many replacements finish in one day. Homes with duct modifications can take longer, and we give you a clear timeline in advance.

What size heat pump do I need?

The right size depends on a load calculation, not square footage alone.
